Linner NC50 is an affordable active noise cancelling in-ear wireless headphones that you can take with you during the whole day long training in your gym room. Overview
First off, I don’t have prior experiences with writing detail review about wireless headphones though I’ve been using many kinds of headphones recently. I always put on headphones while exercising in gym room or in flight. So this review is my own opinion and feeling about the product. Though I’ve tested it during the day to see if it is comfortable enough for all kind of activities in a gym room as well as to see how much noise the headset can remove, and of course, how long the battery can live.
Here are some of my thoughts about this pair of headphones:
Compact and beautiful design
Frankly speaking, the design of the Linner NC50 can be better if they make the wire a bit longer or extendable as well as making the volume and multiple function buttons bigger so that we can easily touch them to adjust volume and pick up calls (When you put on the headphones, you can’t see all these buttons as normal). All the other things are just fine. You have a neckband, made from rubber which is very durable and flexible, to put it over your shoulders. The headset can stay there even you run at highest speed on the running machine. Active Noise Cancelling button is big enough, easy to touch on the right side of the headset. The manufacturer also send you some pairs of ear tips in different sizes so that you can choose the most suitable ones that fit your ear.
Lightweight and easy to use.
When putting the headset on your neck, you’ll feel slightly entangled for some first minutes using it. But when you use it for a while, you don’t even recognize that it is there on your neck because of the weight is too small. So I can say it is as comfortable as you carry on any other wired in-ear headphones. To use the headset, all you need is to turn it on, pair it with your smartphone in seconds and start enjoying music seamlessly.
Sound quality is great and the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) works fine.
Frankly speaking, I was impressed with the active noise cancelling function in the Linner NC50 as you can’t hear any thing but the music after you push the ANC button on the headset. There are 3 modes to choose: Monitor mode is active when you press ANC 1 time, and press 1 more to activate the ANC function. The differences between two modes can be easily recognize as in Monitor mode, the sound is very small. After activating the ANC, it gives you much louder sound. If you press and hold the ANC button within 3 second, Normal mode will be activated.
Long battery life
The headset ran out of battery after approximately 14 hours continuously using it. Actually, I turned it on after receiving the package from Linner (19:00 in the evening) with the battery light displayed at high level (Green light), open music player on my phone and leave it there and come back to check after 13 hours (as the manufacturer stated that the battery can last for 13 hours). Surprisingly, it’s still on and the battery light turned to red which means it is going to stop. In brief, Battery life lasts a little longer than described.
Bluetooth Connectivity works perfect
It’s quick and easy to connect the devices to this headset so long as you follow the instruction, attached to the package. Though this Linner NC50 lets you connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time, I did not try it yet because I seldom use this feature.
IPX 4 Sweat Proof
Okay, this is another feature that I did not test yet. Because it’s a little bit risky to put the headset into the water while there is a “avoid liquid” warning on the operation manual. However, I tried using it in the rain and it still works smoothly as usual.
Competitive price
Linner NC50 ANC headphone is not the cheapest one on the market now. If you go further to Amazon and do some searches, there are dozens of cheaper price items such as this Mpow Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones ($29.99). However, it’s worth to buy if noise cancellation is your priority as this product give you the same sound quality compare to the expensive names on the market now.

Linner is a perfect headset for those who exercise regularly or move around on flights or trains. Its price is acceptable compare the features it offers. I will continue to use this headset some more days to figure out if there is anything to complaint about the quality or not. If yes, I will keep you updated.
