How To Merge Videos In VSDC

Learn how to merge videos in VSDC free video editor here! This is a short tutorial to teach you how to merge/ joint videos or clips in VSDC.

VSDC is one of the best free video editing programs for Windows. It can be downloaded and used for free without any limitation. If you are new to this program, want to merge your videos, clips and add some transitions to the videos, then you can follow these steps to get thing done!

There are various ways to merge videos in VSDC and here is the easiest way from my point of view!

Step 1: Import your videos into the editor

Just make sure you downloaded and installed the program. On the interface, go to Create Slideshow.

Now you have a new blank project. Click the video icon on the left corner of the editor to add your videos for merging. See below picture.

Step 2: Adding transitions

A Files sequence wisard will appear where you can see your videos and various transitions that can be added to your videos. You can either add the transition one by one or apply random transition to all videos. Once you are done, click Apply setting.

Step 3: Export your videos

When you click apply setting, a Sprite will be created. You can modify the Sprite, add more videos, images or texts and so on. If you don’t need to edit more on your videos, then just go to Export tab to finish the work. There are various options you can choose in Export Tab. See below screenshot.
