How To Use Free Screen Recorder In Filmora Video Editor

 

Filmora video editor is a simple to use video editing software for novices and casual users. However, there is a watermark at the center of your video if you’re using its free version. It means that all the videos you edit with Filmora will be watermarked, except the videos that are created from its free screen recorder. In today’s tutorial, we’ll tell you how to use  free screen recorder inside Filmora Video Editor (Free Version).

Step 1: Download and install Filmora Video Editor

This program is available to download and install on either Windows or Mac. Click this link to access Filmora’s official product page.

Step 2: Launch Filmora Video Editor Full Feature Mode

When you already have the program installed on your computer, access to its Full Feature Mode. This mode allows you use all the features of this software. If you happen to see some pop-up, just ignore them.

Step 3: Use Filmora Screen Recording Tools

When you’re inside Filmora Video Editor, click on the Media Library->Record-> Record PC Screen to launch the recording toolbar. There are some important information you may need to know about this screen recorder as below:

  • This screen recorder allows you to record video at 30 fps only.
  • It’s possible to record audio from microphone and system sound.
  • You can’t record screen and webcam at the same time.
  • You can capture full screen, a specific region or a target window. Maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080, full HD quality.
  • You can show and play mouse click during your recording.
  • There is a hotkey to start/stop the recording.
