Gilisoft is a safe, easy-to-use screen recording software with necessary features such as: full screen recording, partial screen recording, webcam video recording with system audio or microphone audio. It allows you to record full HD video (1920 x 1080 resolution) up to 30 fps. If you just need a simple software to record screen without any further editing needs then Gilisoft is not a bad choice.

However, to in order to put it on the list of the best screen recording software it needs to update more features such as real-time drawing tools or a built-in video editor for editing recorded footage.

Recording options in Gilisoft

Gilisoft provides three option for recording video from your Desktop: full-screen, User’s defined and Camera@integreated Webcam. All thes options work fine during our test. When you open the app, you can set up before you start.

• Target settings: Choose how you to want to record your screen: full screen, user-define or Camera. Added to that, you can choose Zoom in while recording and record Transperant and layered Windows.
• Video settings: You can customize output formats in MP4 (H264), MP4(MPEG4), AVI and WMV with default option to enable GPU Acceleration. Quality options are: Higest, Higher, Medium, Low, Lower and Lowest. Maximum screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 and max. 30 fps.
• Audio settings: Choose recording computer sounds and microphone, computer sound only, microphone only or choose none to record video without sound.
• Watermark: Gilisoft allows you to add your own watermark into recorded video in text or image. You are able to adjust your watermark’s transparency, rotate or alignment of it. When you check the box Enable scrolling, your watermark can be displayed again and again.
• Cursor settings: Set up your cursor color and sound here.
• Screenshot settings: Choose your image format in PNG, BMP or JPG here. If you can find where to take screenshot, click on the drop down menu at Record button on the interface.
• Hotkeys: This is the default hotkeys of the software. You can’t change them.

During the test, the quality of images and video that Gilisoft created was very good. I have nothing to complain about Gilisoft here.
