Hi Tatiana, I am wondering which version are you using to record your screen? This online version of ApowerSoft is free to use without watermark, at least when I reviewed it. If you download their desktop version, it’s not free! If you give me some more detail of what you’re going to do, I can give you a better alternatives, advises for your need!
In their free version they limit to 3 min and also there is a fairly big watermark which they place in the upper right corner. of course it is understandable, but especially for canadians it is not as affordable, considering that some people say it is glitching. I tried it it worked ok on one day, some of the hotkeys, like the “stop” button attached to F7 automatically, did not work. So I am hesitant to purchase it.
Hello! Thanks for the great article. After Screencast O’matic upgraded (wrong term) to 2.0, it lost me as a customer. I produce a LOT of videos for my students and v2.0’s multiple bugs (sound distorts in Win10 and cannot save new videos to your own folders (crashes every time) and worst yet, their usually prompt replies stopped coming…and I mean stopped as in NO replies for tech support), so I strongly recommend NOT using Screencast O’matic!
